Tell us about your role at TRI:
In my role as Business Development Analyst at TRI, my primary role is to seek out and find possible positive business connections for TRI to develop and grow our brand. I look for successful businesses using our products and try to facilitate a relationship that is beneficial to both TRI and our customers.

Tell us a little about your family:
My wife and I are both born and raised in the Midwest. She is from Nebraska and I grew up in Minnesota and Iowa. We met in Colorado and have lived in several different regions of the US before we settled back in Minnesota to raise our family. We have one daughter, and 2 golden retrievers. We love to all spend time together outdoors.

About your education or experience:
I have a BA in Business Management from Luther College in Decorah, IA. I have spent time working in corporate healthcare management and golf course management. My true passion is golf and I have worked for several years as a PGA Teaching Professional at a few different golf courses. I started at TRI in February of 2018 in my current role.

What sort of hobbies do you have?
My hobbies include golf, biking, hiking and running, and bowhunting. I no longer work as a golf instructor but I still play regularly and enjoy practicing. My wife and I enjoy spending time together hiking state and national parks, pretty much anywhere with beautiful scenery and good trails. I spend a lot of time bowhunting and preparing throughout the year by shooting lots of arrows and training for life outdoors.

What is your favorite thing about working at TRI?
My favorite thing about working at TRI are the people I get to work with. We have an excellent team of caring and professional people. As I have not been with TRI long and I am still learning the industry, it has been very important for me to have people that are approachable and can provide me with their expertise. Our entire team is driven to gain knowledge and share that knowledge. It’s great to work with people who want you to be successful and genuinely care about you as a person as well.

What would you like people to know about you?
I believe in a work/life balance, we all have to work but being able to have and enjoy a life outside of work is paramount.

Other than appearance, what is the first thing that people notice about you?
I am always smiling. I’m pretty laid back and generally happy and humerous.
